I was gonna burn in hell . . .

"I was gonna burn in hell and you were gonna let me." This is the quote I used over and over, after I committed my life to Christ, to church-going, closed-mouthed, professing Christians that rubbed shoulders with me while I was living like and running with the devil. I might not have listened or believed if someone had told me the Truth--about Jesus--but at least I would have thought that they cared about me enough to go out of their way and risk their friendship with me here on earth for a possibility of friendship with me for eternity (if I committed my life to Christ). Listen to athiest Penn (from Penn and Teller) say the same exact thing.

Do we really love our neighbor as ourself? How many people know what you believe about Christ whom you have not shared? What is that saying to them? Do they think you love them? We know that they will die and burn in hell and we are gonna let them. SHAMEFUL. God forgive us. Thanks for sharing this with me Van!
